About

Chase P. Hines was born on a stormy night aboard an abandoned, derelict riverboat drifting across Lake Michigan. Raised by an ex-opera singer and a part-time magician/taxidermist, his childhood was anything but ordinary. After being kicked in the head by a moose in the woods off St. Clair Shores, Chase's eye's which had been cross-eyed at birth, corrected, and he was also bestowed a burning in his soul to defend democracy and give voice to the voiceless.

Armed with crayons, paint brushes, Joe Strummer’s vinyl collection, and a biting sense of humor, Chase created Destroyers of Democracy—an adult coloring book that skewers the misfits, malcontents, and miscreants threatening our freedoms.

Equal parts satire, protest, and absurdist art, his work is fueled by an unshakable belief in the power of creativity to speak truth, challenge corruption, and provoke a laugh in the face of tyranny.

He’d love to speak with you about any creative collaboration you may have in mind.
